A STORY, AN APPROACH

An intimate story, a personal commitment.

Joost de Villebois’ passion for the excellence of Loire wines is deeply rooted in his personal history.

Descending from a very ancient French family that settled in the Netherlands in the 19th century, he aspires to give a centuries-old winemaking tradition greater global recognition. This wine enthusiast has created a dynamic structure representing appellations from Touraine, Quincy, Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon with the aim of expanding the number of enthusiasts around the world.

One emblem for the same ethos…

The coat of arms of the de Villebois’ family embodies a common standard across all our vineyards, a shared code of conduct representing the values of winemaking illustrated by all its elements.

1

Sustainable Winegrowing

Since 2021, our approach has been aligned with the only Corporate Social Responsibility label dedicated to the wine industry: the “Vignerons engagés”

2

People

Because for us, the land, the vines, and the people form a continuous whole. We strive to respect every step of the wine creation process, from grape cultivation and harvest to vinification, bottle transportation, and tasting. We consider these links as part of a responsible whole.

3

Earth

We require all our winegrowing partners to practice low-input agriculture, which remains compatible with the pursuit of a scientific approach for the benefit of large productions to allow everyone access to wine.
